About Cristóbal Krusen

Cristóbal began his filmmaking career in New York City in 1976 after receiving his BFA in Film and Television from New York University. In the years that followed, he worked as a script reader, film editor, writer, and finally director/producer. Krusen later attended the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California where he received his MFA in Film Directing. Among his credits as a writer/director are the Spanish language films Ropa Nueva para Felipe (New Clothes for Felipe), ¿Con Quién Te Vas? (With Whom Will You Go?), and Destino Final (Final Destiny).

Cristóbal is also the director and screenwriter of Final Solution, First Landing, and The Bill Collector. Featured on PBS, Final Solution has won awards at the Heartland Film Festival, the Marco Island Film Festival, the New York Independent Film Festival, the WorldFest Houston, the Down Under International Film Festival, and the Sabaoth International Film Festival in Milan, Italy. In 2004 and 2005, Cris produced the award winning docudrama More Than Dreams, featuring true stories of Muslims who have experienced dreams and visions of Jesus Christ. More than two million DVDs of this riveting film have been distributed worldwide in more than thirty languages.
